On Thursday, our Development Officer, Sarah Stoughton-Lemay and Donor Services Officer, Amanda Mack visited the Ohio Glass Museum to try their hand at fused glass art. They designed and created custom sun catchers, and we think they turned out amazing! It was a fun and creative experience, and we loved seeing the finished results.

If you haven't visited the Ohio Glass Museum—or if it has been a while since your last visit—we highly recommend stopping by. It's a wonderful experience for all ages and a great way to explore Lancaster's rich glass-making heritage.

While there, they also had the opportunity to browse the gift shop, which features a variety of beautiful and unique glass pieces. Whether you're looking for something special to decorate your home or searching for the perfect gift, you're sure to find something that catches your eye.

And before anyone asks—the amazing cow pictured is not one of our creations! It is a beautiful example of the incredible detail and artistry that can be achieved through fused glass and serves as inspiration for what is possible when designing your own piece.

Established to support projects and initiatives that strengthen the Baltimore community, this fund may provide grants to individuals, businesses, or organizations whose work benefits the residents of Baltimore, Ohio.

On May 30th Geneva Hills officially opened their brand new, 20-camper cabin for the 2026 season. The new cabin build was supported with a grant from the Robert A. Schatz Fund. According to Geneva Hills Executive Director, Clayton, "The cabin will provide over 500 additional camper and guest spaces each year, allowing more Fairfield County children to experience the life-changing impact of summer camp—growing in confidence, faith, and community through time spent in nature." While 2026 camp season just kicked off, Clayton also remarked, "Beyond individual campers, the project strengthens local partnerships with schools, churches, and nonprofits that utilize Geneva Hills, reinforcing our shared mission to provide safe, affordable, and transformative spaces for the people of Fairfield County."
