We had the pleasure of hearing from Charlee McKisson and Mya Gustafson today as they shared the incredible work being done by the Lancaster High School Rotary Interact Club! These inspiring young leaders and their fellow club members have gone above and beyond to demonstrate what “Service Above Self” truly means. Through their dedication to giving back, they are making a meaningful difference in our community and showing the importance of serving others. It was wonderful to hear about their accomplishments, their passion for helping others, and how they are embracing the values of Rotary at such a young age. The future of Rotary is certainly bright with young leaders like these! Lancaster High School

We had a wonderful Rotary meeting today hearing from our very own Missy Dever, CEO of United Way! Missy shared some great insight into the incredible work United Way is doing to make our community a better place. With their annual campaign kicking off, it’s inspiring to see so many agencies, generous donors, and dedicated community members coming together to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. Thank you, Missy, for sharing your passion and reminding us what a caring and giving community we are fortunate to be part of! We also had a fun moment during Happy Dollars when our Rotary Foreign Exchange Student, Tim, from Taiwan, shared his excitement about attending both an Ohio State football game AND a Columbus Blue Jackets game this past week thanks to Dan and Adam! 🏈🏒 What an awesome week of experiences for Tim! We love seeing him make wonderful memories and experience all that Ohio has to offer! Another great day of fellowship, community spirit, and Service Above Self! 💙💛 United Way of Fairfield County

We took a little road trip today! 🚗🎡 Our meeting took us to Ricketts Hall at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds for our annual behind-the-scenes look at everything that goes into preparing for the Fairfield County Fair. We also held our monthly Gather & Grow meeting, and we want to thank all of our guests who joined us to learn more about Rotary. We were so glad to have you!

A special thank you to Connie Smith, Fairfield County Agricultural Society member, and Isabella Busey, Fairfield County Fair Queen, for speaking with us today. They did a fantastic job! We’re also grateful to the entire Fairfield County Fair Board for all the hard work they put in throughout the year to make the fair such a special tradition for our community. Thank you to President-Nominee Amy Eyman for leading today’s meeting while Aunie was out of town, and to Becky and Blake for coordinating our box lunches. It was a great meeting, and after today’s visit, we’re officially ready for fair season! 🎡🐄🌽🎟️

🌸🦋 Rotarians in Action! 🦋🌸
Following our Rotary meeting on Monday, Lancaster Rotarians got to work creating a brand-new butterfly garden at Harcum House! 🌼🌿 Our Rotarians did the majority of the planting Monday, filling the new garden with a variety of beautiful, butterfly-loving flowers to get it off to a great start! We have a little more work planned for the garden and can’t wait to watch it grow and come to life! A HUGE thank you to Lancaster Greenhouse for providing the plants to Harcum House at cost and generously donating Sweet Peet and fertilizer to help make this project possible! Another great example of Lancaster Rotary putting Service Above Self into action and creating something our community can enjoy for years to come!

Rotarians were proud to volunteer at the 2026 Gordon B. Snider, MD Memorial Golf Outing ⛳️ at the Lancaster Golf Club. Dr. Snider was a dedicated Rotarian who made a lasting impact on our club and community. He is deeply missed, and we were honored to celebrate his memory and legacy today.

We had a great Rotary meeting today! A big thank you to Fairfield County Commissioner Jeff Fix for joining us today! Commissioner Fix gave us a great update on the many ways Fairfield County continues to grow and improve lives throughout our community—from expanding public transportation and creating more job opportunities to making Fairfield County an even better place to live, work, and raise a family. We truly appreciate Commissioner Fix taking the time to visit with us and share what’s happening across the county. We’re also grateful for the continued support of all our Fairfield County Commissioners and County Administrator Aunie Cordle and everything they do for our community and Rotary. Aunie also shared a fun Rotary connection from her travels—a photo from her visit to a Rotary fountain in Spokane, Washington! It’s always great to see the Rotary spirit wherever our travels take us.
Thank you, Commissioner Fix and Aunie, for your leadership, service, and continued support!
