πŸš‘πŸ΄ Help Us Build a WMRC Horse & Human First Aid Kit! 🩹

Safety is a priority at every White Mountain Riding Club event. One of our members has offered to put together a dedicated first aid kit for both horses and humans to have on hand during clinics, shows, trail rides, and other club activities.

Would you like to help? We have created an Amazon registry with items that will help us stock the kit with essential supplies. Any contribution, big or small, is greatly appreciated and will help keep our members, volunteers, and horses safer throughout the season.

πŸ’™ Follow the link below to view the registry and contribute if you'd like.

Thank you for helping us create a safer environment for everyone who enjoys spending time with horses. Every item donated makes a difference!

✨ Riders of all ages and disciplines welcome
✨ Horse owners and horse lovers welcome
✨ Help support local equestrian opportunities
✨ Meet new friends and make lasting memories
✨ Be part of preserving and growing our local horse community

The future of horse clubs depends on people willing to get involved. We'd love for you to be one of them.

🌟 White Mountain Riding Club Member Spotlight Open🌟

One of the best parts of WMRC is the amazing people who make up our horse community, and we'd love to highlight more of you!

Whether you've been riding for 50 years or 5 months, compete every weekend or simply enjoy spending time with your horse on the trail, your story matters. We are looking for members of all ages, disciplines, and experience levels to be featured in our Member Spotlight series.

It's a fun way to share your horses, your journey, your favorite memories, and what being part of the horse community means to you.

Interested? Send us a message and we will connect so that we can feature you in an upcoming post! If we have reached out to you, all you have to do is get in contact!

We especially encourage our youth members, new members, volunteers, and long-time supporters to participate. Every rider has a story worth sharing. ❀️🐴

🐴 We Need to Hear From You! 🐴

A few days ago we asked about interest in an Open Ring Day. It appears that July 26th is available for those who have responded. While we have had some positive responses, we don't yet have enough interest to move forward just yet.

Before we spend time coordinating volunteers and reserving the facility, we need a better idea of how many riders would actually participate. If you have already responded, could you please let us know how many would be attending?

If an Open Ring Day is something you would attend, please take a moment to comment below with:
βœ… Interested
βœ… Number of participants

Remember, we need a minimum of 10 paid participants to make this happen.

Whether you'd like to school a young horse, prepare for a show, expose a horse to a new environment, or simply enjoy some arena time, we'd love to offer this opportunity. We just need to know the interest is there!

Please comment and help us spread the word by sharing with your horse friends.

Are you ready?! Early Sign ups will open on June 30. Regular sign ups open on July 4.

Ray Hackett brings over 45 years of experience to the arena spanning local shows to Eastern States competitionsβ€”and is carded as an A-rated judge with New England 4-H, OHSA, and ATOA. But what truly sets Ray apart is where it all began.

🐎 A proud member of the Salem Silver Spurs and Atkinson Chaps n’ Breeches 4-H Clubs
🐎 Founder of the Plaistow Snappy Striders (NH 4-H)
🐎 A lifelong horseman shaped by real experience, real horses, and real connection

From earning championships across disciplines, to becoming a Massachusetts licensed instructor, to developing a reputation as a healing horsemanship clinician, Ray’s work goes far beyond ribbons. Ray helps horses to be understood, riders build confidence, and creating try partnerships.

His impact has been recognized far beyond the show ring:

πŸ“– The Boston Globe – β€œHorse Sense Redefined”
πŸ“Ί WCVB Chronicle Feature
πŸŽ₯ Animal Behavior Research Institute (ABRI)
🌍 Featured in international documentary Back Roads USA

This is horsemanship rooted in feel, experience, and a lifetime of learning. We are honored to bring Ray Hackett to the White Mountain Riding Club community πŸ’™
