Chances for Children International

Chances for Children International (CCI) partners with grassroots organizations to build capacity to strengthen and expand effective educational programs.

Chances for Children International (CCI) is registered as a 501(c)3 (non-profit) organization in the State of New Hampshire. We are supported solely by contributions from individuals. CCI works to give individual children in developing countries the chance to escape poverty by getting an education to grow their minds and widen their horizons. We partner with small grassroots organizations in Asia

, Africa and Central America, helping them build capacity to strengthen and expand effective programs. Working within the framework of grassroots organizations has several advantages: it empowers local people who best understand the needs of their communities; it gives them greater means to improve the life chances of local children; and it utilizes knowledge of local institutions to give children better learning opportunities. Our major goal is to increase the access of poor children, particularly girls, to education (primary, secondary and university levels). CCI's partners are:

•Hearing & Beyond (Vietnam)
•PROGRESA (Guatemala)
•The Girls Foundation of Tanzania

It's time to celebrate... INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL !! 🌎🩷🌎🩷🌎

We see first hand how education changes everything for girls. It provides knowledge, skills, confidence, and a future of unlimited opportunities. Educated girls around the world also support their families, help their communities grow, and contribute to the economy.

What we witness daily... girls from poor communities in rural Guatemala gaining access to university due to CCI scholarships from PROGRESA and Amigos de Santa Cruz... girls stay in school longer and dream bigger futures in central Vietnam because of CCI funding of the Children’s Education Foundation and Thiên An Shelter. One oustanding student, Yoom (photo below), earned our 2024 LIFT-OFF Award and is already giving back to her community.
