Posting from an RI post,
Appreciating Women of Rotary on
On this International Women’s Day, we pause as Rotarians to recognize, celebrate, and thank the remarkable women of Rotary. Women who lead with purpose, serve with compassion, and inspire change across our clubs, districts, and communities around the world.
Women in Rotary embody the very heart of Service Above Self. Through your leadership, mentorship, and unwavering commitment, you strengthen our fellowship, expand our impact, and ensure that Rotary remains relevant, inclusive, and forward‑looking. Whether you are chairing committees, leading clubs and districts, advancing The Rotary Foundation, or quietly transforming lives through hands‑on service, your contributions matter, and they endure.
Rotary’s vision to create lasting change is inseparable from the leadership of women. From championing peace and health to advancing education, economic empowerment, and community development, women Rotarians are at the forefront of service and innovation. You bring diverse perspectives, courageous advocacy, and a deep sense of humanity that elevates our collective work.
Today is also a reaffirmation of Rotary’s commitment to equity, opportunity, and inclusion. As Rotarians, we recognize that when women thrive, communities prosper, and when women lead, Rotary grows stronger.
Thank you for your service, your leadership, and your belief in a better world. May we continue to open doors, lift one another, and work side by side to ensure that Rotary remains a place where women lead boldly, serve proudly, and belong fully.
Happy International Women’s Day.
Together, we will continue to Create Hope in the World.
