💙 Hey Lighthouse Families! 💙
Just wanted to share an awesome resource in our community!
The food pantry at St. Mary's Catholic Church is open the second Tuesday & Thursday at 4PM of each month and available to anyone who could use a little extra help. Whether you're feeding a growing family, stretching a tight budget, or just going through a tough season, there is absolutely no shame in accepting a helping hand.
We know life can get expensive, and sometimes everyone needs a little support. That's what community is all about. ❤️
If you need food assistance, don't hesitate to check them out. And if you know someone who could benefit, please share this post with them!

We are so grateful for the continued support our community shows in caring for the families we serve. Your generosity truly makes a difference, and so many of our clients are able to provide for their children because of you.

We do want to kindly ask for your help in one important area. Our clients work incredibly hard to build stable, loving homes and to earn the items they bring into their families. Because of this, we want to provide donations that are clean, functional, and aligned with their needs. Things they can take pride in.

When items are dropped off that are broken, heavily worn, or outside of our mission, it requires our volunteers to spend time sorting and disposing of them. This takes time and resources away from directly serving our families.

Before donating, please consider whether the item is something you would feel confident giving to a friend or loved one. If so, we would be honored to pass it along.

Thank you again for your generosity, your kindness, and for helping us serve our families with dignity and care. We truly couldn’t do this without you. 🤍

Today we honor the women who reflect the heart of Jesus through their love. 🌸

You are a light in your homes the lives of your children. Your prayers, sacrifices, and love are a beautiful picture of God’s care for His children.

Motherhood is more than a role, it’s a ministry, and we are so grateful for each of you who walk it out daily with grace and faith.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at The Lighthouse.

The stone was rolled away. The tomb was empty. Jesus is alive!
Everything changed on Easter morning.
The fear of Friday became the joy of Sunday. The darkness gave way to hope. Death did not win! Jesus did!
Because He lives, we have hope. Because He lives, we are forgiven. Because He lives, no sorrow, failure, or struggle gets the final word.
Today we celebrate the greatest news the world has ever known, He is risen indeed.
What part of your life needs the hope and new beginning of Easter today?

Saturday was quiet.
Jesus’ followers were grieving. They felt lost, confused, and afraid. It seemed like hope had been buried.
Maybe you have had days like that too? days when God feels silent and you are not sure what He is doing.
But Holy Saturday reminds us that silence is not the same thing as absence.
Even when no one could see it, God was still working.
If you are in a season of waiting or wondering, hold on. Sunday is coming.
Where do you need hope, even if you cannot yet see the answer?

Good Friday is heavy.
It is the day Jesus carried the cross. The day the sky grew dark. The day He gave His life.
And yet we call it “good”. Not because the cross was easy, but because of what it means.
Jesus chose the cross out of love. He saw every mistake, every hurt, every broken place in us...and He loved us anyway.
The cross says that nothing is too broken for God to redeem. No one is too far gone. His love reaches all the way to us.
Take a moment tonight to sit quietly and thank Jesus for His sacrifice.
How does knowing Jesus chose the cross for you change the way you see yourself?

On Maundy Thursday, Jesus did something unexpected. He knelt down and washed His disciples’ feet.
The King of Kings chose to serve.
Then He gave His followers a new command, “Love one another. Just as I have loved you.”
Jesus showed us that real love is not proud or selfish. Real love serves. It forgives. It stays. It chooses kindness even when it is hard.
Tonight, ask God to help you love others the way Jesus loves you.
Who in your life needs to experience the love of Jesus through you?

Take a moment to imagine sitting with Jesus in the upper room. The disciples did not fully understand what was coming, but Jesus did.
He knew there would be pain, betrayal, and sorrow ahead. Yet He still chose to sit with His friends, share a meal, and speak words of love.
Even knowing what was coming, Jesus stayed. He did not run away. He stayed because of His love for us.
Whatever you are facing tonight, remember that Jesus is not afraid of your hurt, your questions, or your struggles. He sits with you in them.
What would you say to Jesus if you were sitting with Him in the upper room tonight?
