‼️ENHANCED RISK (LEVEL 3 OF 5) issued for SEVERE WEATHER TODAY 🌪️ for Tornadoes, Very Large Hail 🧊 2”+, and Damaging Winds 💨 75+ mph

Severe thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening across portions of Nebraska, Kansas, eastern Colorado, and surrounding areas. Supercells capable of producing very large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes are expected before storms organize into larger clusters later this evening.

🌪️ A FEW TORNADOES POSSIBLE: Tornado potential will increase late this afternoon and evening as low-level winds strengthen, with tornadoes possible from both persistent supercells and embedded circulations within storm clusters

🧊 VERY LARGE HAIL POSSIBLE (2”+): Initial supercells may produce hail larger than 2 inches in diameter

💨 DAMAGING WINDS POSSIBLE (75+ MPH): One or more bowing storm clusters may develop with scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts over 75 mph

➡️ WHAT TO EXPECT TIMEFRAME WISE

• Early Afternoon: Thunderstorms develop across eastern Colorado, southeast Wyoming, western Nebraska, and western Kansas

• Late Afternoon – Evening: Supercells capable of very large hail and a few tornadoes spread eastward into Nebraska and Kansas

• Evening: Storms begin to merge into larger clusters with an increasing damaging wind threat

• Overnight: Severe winds may continue eastward across Kansas and possibly into western Missouri, with a continued embedded tornado threat

We are thankful for those that have donated their time and artistic ability for these barn quilts to be placed at the patio.

We are looking for five more people to paint a patriotic barn quilt for us. Please contact us so we can get the correct paint and board size to you.
