Crabbing Trip — Northwest Adventure Center 🦀

Departs from the Northwest Adventure Center (Bldg 8050, Lewis North)

Washington crabbing season is unlike anywhere else in the U.S. — head to one of the state's favorite coastal fishing ports with ODR and try for Dungeness and Red Rock crab, two culinary signatures of the Pacific Northwest. Difficulty 2/5.

Cost: $65. Under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

ODR provides transportation, bait, crab ring, ice and a pail. You bring: a WA fishing license (combination or shellfish/seaweed), a container for your crabs, weather clothing and a snack/lunch.

Sign up at the Northwest Adventure Center or call 253-967-7744 — please confirm the departure time when you sign up, as MWR's listings show more than one time for this trip.

Tacoma's War Memorial Park

This year's event also includes a Veterans Information Fair, running from 10:30-12:30.

This outdoor event will proceed rain or shine, and all are welcome! Tacoma's War Memorial Park overlooks the Narrows Bridges, near 6th Avenue and Jackson.
