Sergeants Major Association The Sergeants Major Association of the Northwest (SMA) is a group of active and retired E-9's of all services that serve their community and fellowship.

The Sergeants Major Association is a nonprofit organization with the objective of supporting Soldiers, Government and Civilian Organizations in the Joint Lewis-McChord Community. As an Association, we shall instill and promote the comradeship of its members and their families, enhance the prestige of and promote cooperation amongst all Sergeants Major, active and retired in order to help aid and b

etter the local military installations and communities and provide a means of mutual exchange of professional and technical knowledge. Additionally, as a recent organized 501-3C Charitable Organization, The Association will assist military and veteran’s organizations to raise money for military events like the Army Ball, other military balls, military themed picnics, etc. as long as at least one member of the requesting organization is a member of the Association and approved by the membership. We will also support Soldier programs approved by the Membership.

Thanks to all the Sergeants Major who showed up today to help clean up the Lacey Civic Plaza and the Gold Star Family Memorial.

We wanted to make sure that everything is ready for Memorial Day.

The Gold Star Family Memorial in Lacey, WA is clean and ready for Veteran Day activities.

We will be cleaning up the Gold Star Family Memorial in Lacey, on November 1st at 1100. The city will provide the cleaning materials we just need to provide the cleaning power.

We look forward to seeing you all there.

The memorial is located next to Appleby's (525 Sleater-Kinney Road SE)
