But for 13.8 million children in America experiencing food insecurity, weekend hunger can cloud those dreams. When school meals pause on Friday, uncertainty sets in.

It is hard to focus on math, reading, or imagining your future when you are worried about your next meal.

Blessings in a Backpack provides weekend food so children can return to school nourished and ready to learn.
