Our Forest Monitoring Crews are hard at work in Lakeview, Oregon! They are collecting data about tree health, understory vegetation, and fuel abundance. This data will help the County prepare the area for wildfires. Thank you to our team and everyone else working to combat wildfire devastation 💚 🌲

🎉💦 FREE BACK-TO-SCHOOL FUN! 💦🎉

Join our community partners on September 1st from 3–6 PM for a Back-to-School Water Balloon Battle at Fremont/AD Hay Elementary School! 🎈💦

We’ll have lots of FREE back-to-school support and fun, including:
📚 School supplies
👕 Clothing
🍎 Food & treats
🎨 Face painting
💇 Haircuts
💉 Immunization checks
🤝 Community resources
💦 Water balloon battle!

🏫 High school students: School supplies and clothing will also be available at Lakeview High School during these same hours (3–6 PM).

Come stop by, grab some school supplies and clothing, enjoy some food and treats, and have some fun as we get ready for another school year!

We took some time yesterday morning to have a walking meeting and spent it picking up some of the downtown area here in Lakeview. We want to make this a regular thing here at LCRI, be sure to say hi if you see us or feel free to join in, the more the merrier!

Your home can become so hot that your cooling system has to work much harder later.

Using a programmable thermostat is usually the better solution.

What if making your home more comfortable and energy efficient could cost you less than you think?

Through Lake County Resources Initiative (LCRI), eligible Pacific Power customers may have access to programs designed to help improve energy efficiency and home comfort.

Depending on eligibility and available funding, assistance may include:

🌬️ Air sealing and draft reduction
🔍 Home energy assessments
🔥 Heating and cooling improvements
