Friday night Philly Cheese Steaks 5pm-9pm with Lefty Martin & His Right Hand Band from 6pm-9pm.
Saturday Ron's 1/2lb Burgers or 1/4lb Hot Dogs with sides.

Thank you to all our Post, Auxiliary & Community that donated to Veterans Village SD Standdown 2026. We delivered 5 car loads yesterday!!!
It was also National Donut Day onboard the USS Midway!! A great event for Veterans. Lakeside was well represented by Mary's Donuts, our USS Miday volunteer/member Roger Hayes, Auxiliary, & Post.

Our community made this happen on Red Shoe Day!! We were part of the more than $175k raised to care for families during their child's hospitalization. We were listed in the San Diego Business Journal. Great job Team 5867!!

We made it.
We, Run For The Wall (all 3 routes [of 4]), have made it to Springfield, VA.
Tomorrow morning we meet at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial for our family picture then head to the apex of the Vietnam Memorial Wall for mission complete. I rode for an additional 10 heros this year and remembered them on the anniversary day of their loss. I randomly picked names that were KIA/MIA/POW on 5-13 thru 5-23 during the war.
After we pay tribute to those we ride/rode for I have to get back to the hotel & shower/change.
At approximately 1430 me and about 50 other motorcycle riders (75 bikes riding 2-up) will ride into Arlington National Cemetery.
The most hallowed ground. At 1515 (3:15pm) I, along with 3 other riders of RFTW will be placing a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers.
I cannot begin to tell you how humbling this is going to be. I'm so greatful to the RFTW leadership who chose me (out of 307) to represent the Sandbox Route.
I love my Midway and Sandbox family.
