We Are The Essentials We are a group of former law enforcement and military service members who search for the missing.

10/13/2026

Team WATE was out early today searching for Lucius Sealey, who was located by law enforcement this morning safely only a few blocks from where he went missing.

Great job, LakelandPD, and thank you for the 4 a.m. wake-up call! Lol. All joking aside, we’ll gladly be woken up at 4 a.m. when it ends with a great outcome like this morning’s.

We also want to apologize for referring to Mr. Sealey as Lucas instead of Lucius. This is real life, and sometimes during a search, we don’t have time to rehearse our videos. We hope everyone understands.

We want to take this moment to thank the community for your continued support. We’ll see you on the next search!

💔Sad update Leslie “Les” Leary💔

Les was reported missing from Ocala, Florida on Sunday, January 25, 2026. On Wednesday, January 28, Les’s backpack was located by a Marine Deputy at an unmanned Lake County Sheriff’s substation in Astor. Unfortunately, there were no cameras at the location to tell us who had placed the backpack there.

Our team traveled to Astor and conducted a ground search for Les, but we were not able to locate him.

For 232 days, Les’s family has been left wondering what happened to him and praying for answers.

Today, we were contacted by Les’s daughter, who confirmed that the remains located in Lake County last week, approximately five miles from where Les’s backpack was found, have been identified as those of Les.

While this is heartbreaking news, his family can finally begin to get the answers they have been waiting for.
Please keep Les’s family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this difficult time.
May Les finally Rest in Peace. 🕊️
