This past year, CoHatch played a pivotal role in one of our most significant organizational milestones. As part of our mission to promote sustainable agriculture, we organized a workshop to educate local farmers about microgreen production. While planning the event, we faced a challenge: finding a professional and accessible space to host our team meetings and finalize the event logistics.

CoHatch became the solution. The welcoming coworking environment provided a space where our team could focus without distractions. We used the meeting rooms to collaborate effectively, map out our agenda, and even test presentation materials with the built-in tech resources.

The workshop was a success, attended by over 50 farmers who left inspired and equipped with new tools to incorporate microgreens into their practices. Afterward, we received feedback from attendees that the event’s quality was a reflection of the professionalism we demonstrated—and much of that was made possible by the environment CoHatch provided.

CoHatch is more than just a workspace; it’s a place where ideas turn into action, and dreams take root. It has empowered us to pursue our mission with confidence, and we look forward to continuing this partnership.

A Note for Microgreen Farmers Post-Hurricane

To all the resilient microgreen farmers and those with entrepreneurial spirit: it's okay to not be okay right now. It’s perfectly fine to ask for help. Remember, it’s okay to feel overwhelmed and let others support you through this challenging time.

You don’t have to shoulder all this weight alone. This isn't the time to keep everything together; your focus can shift to healing and recovery.

If you’re looking to help fellow farmers, reach out to the strong ones you know. Show up at their farms or homes. Bring them a warm meal, some coffee, or just your presence. Listen to their stories about riding out the storm and how they're coping.

Don’t wait for them to ask for help; often, they won’t. Go see them anyway. Make sure they know they are loved and supported, even if they’re not the type to seek attention or assistance.

Asking for help is tough for many, especially when everyone is facing their own struggles. No one should navigate the recovery process alone. Often, the simple act of showing up can mean the world to someone who typically handles things on their own.

Check in on your self-reliant farmer friends. They may just need you now more than ever. Community is about lifting each other up, especially during difficult times. Let’s stand together and support one another as we recover and rebuild.
