The boys kicked off the Spring 2026 season this past weekend at the 2026 14U PG March Madness @ Premier (Major).

Saturday was a tough start as they worked to shake off the rust, going 0–2 and landing in the Silver bracket. After being held hitless, they came back on Sunday with a completely different energy—racking up 15 hits across two big wins to bring home the Silver bracket championship.

Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it. The ability to bounce back like that says everything about this group.

We talk all the time about learning to take a bad game, a bad at-bat, or a rough outing and “FLUSH IT” — then move forward. Seeing them put that into action was something special.

Best of luck to all the boys competing for a spot on the Marucci 2030 National Baseball Team! The talent was 🔥, and the boys from Southern Brazoria County showed out—holding their own and looking sharp alongside elite players from all across Texas who traveled in to compete for a spot!

The energy was high, the competition was tough, and the future is bright. No matter what, be proud of the work you put in and the way you represented! 💪

🚨 METx 2030 (14U) NATIONAL TEAM 🚨

METx will be hosting tryouts for the 2030 (14U) National Team on December 13th-14th at the University of Houston! The tryout is open to any, and all, players in the 2030 grad class. This team will represent METx in 3-4 national events throughout the Spring/Summer of 2026. If you plan on attending, please make sure to register online using the link below.

What a great start to the 2025 Fall 14u season!

We got together with another METx 14u team today for a double header scrimmage. It was the best way to prepare for our first tournament in two weeks!

12 innings played with 22 different kids stepping on the mound to pitch!!! That is the way to develop great ball players!

As we started practice this month to get ready for our first scrimmage to help us better prepare for our first Fall tournament of our 14u season at the end of the month, we look back to see how we finished our 13u season.

It was a very successful season with plenty of highs and lows. In the Spring we got bumped up to Majors and finished nationally ranked in 13u Majors!

National Rank Majors: 85th with Honorable Mention
Regional Rank: 37th in the South Region with Honorable Mention
