We had so much fun hosting BISD at our LevelUp Career Expo today! 🎉 Hosted by TTLM staff in partnership with Brazosport College and Bridge Year, this field trip experience gives students the chance to test-drive careers with hands-on simulations, explore educational pathways at Brazosport College, practice budgeting and future planning skills, and get a first-hand look at what their next steps could look like… all while having a lot of fun with TTLM’s Youth and Young Adult coaches!

Celebrating Talen, one of our 2026 LevelUp Summer Interns, as he rings the bell! 🔔🎉

At just 17, Talen has already overcome more than most his age should have to face. While working two jobs and participating in LevelUp, he was navigating housing instability and tough choices about how to make ends meet. But today, he's ringing the bell for something new: he’s stepping into meaningful employment to provide for himself and build a stable future! That’s what happens when a young person is met with hope, opportunity, and people who believe in what’s possible!

Looking to connect with employers who are actively hiring RIGHT NOW? Join us for the Work Ready Career Expo on October 28, presented in collaboration with Brazosport College and United Way of Brazoria County.

We launched this expo last year to help our neighbors upskill, connect, and take the next step toward a living-wage career. We watched almost 300 participants meet with employers, and we can't wait to see what new connections come out of this year's expo!

We're celebrating Connie ringing the bell and her incredible journey toward employment! 🔔

Connie first connected with TTLM through volunteering with her church at TTLM Connection. As she got to know our team, she shared that she was looking for employment. Our staff helped her with her resume, job search, and encouragement as she pursued new opportunities. Today, Connie is celebrating a salaried position with benefits! She is building a life rooted in stability, independence, and sobriety, living a life she says she never imagined for herself. We’re honored to celebrate this milestone with you, Connie!
