🇺🇸 LAKE BUTLER… GET READY FOR A FOURTH OF JULY LIKE NEVER BEFORE! 🇺🇸

This year, Lake Butler Rotary’s Independence Day Celebration is bringing our community a Fourth of July celebration bigger, louder, and more patriotic than anything we’ve ever done before as we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary.

Picture this…

Live music echoing through Lakeside Park.
Kids racing down waterslides with faces painted red, white, and blue.
The smell of BBQ, food trucks, and summertime favorites filling the air.
Families gathered along the lake waving flags as fireworks light up the night sky over the water. 🎆

From pie contests and BBQ cook offs to fishing tournaments, classic cars, vendors, patriotic activities for kids, the Stars & Strides 5K Rotary Run, and special messages to our troops, there will be something for everyone all day long.

From the first cast in the fishing tournament to the final fireworks reflecting across the lake, this is the kind of hometown celebration people remember for years. A celebration where neighbors become family, patriotism fills the air, and Lake Butler comes together to celebrate what makes this country and this community so special.

This isn’t just another Fourth of July.

America turns 250 years old in 2026, and we’re inviting YOU to help us celebrate this historic milestone the Lake Butler way. 🇺🇸

So grab your lawn chairs, your family, your friends, and your American spirit and join us Saturday, July 4th, 2026 at Lakeside Park for a day full of unforgettable memories, hometown pride, and patriotic celebration.

Recently, members of Lake Butler Rotary came together to place over 450 crosses in honor of those who have served our country. Today, we especially honor and remember the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. 🇺🇸

On this Memorial Day, may we all pause to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and service of our nation’s heroes.

Some evenings are fun.

And then some evenings become the kind you will be talking about long after the barn lights go out.

An Evening of Western Inspired Cuisine: Saddle Up Soirée Reimagined A Taste of the West was truly one for the books.

From candlelit tables beneath the barn lights, to cowboy hats gathered around beautifully plated multi course meals, live music drifting through the air, saloon doors swinging, and laughter echoing across the room, the entire evening felt like stepping into something entirely its own. Elevated, immersive, welcoming, and full of unforgettable moments from beginning to end.

There were countless moments throughout the night where you could simply look around the room and feel it… people slowing down, enjoying one another, sharing stories between courses, laughing a little louder, lingering a little longer, and truly experiencing the evening together.

And my goodness, did Lake Butler show up!!

Because of every attendee, donor, volunteer, contributor, vendor, and supporter who believed in this vision and helped bring it to life, this became the most successful fundraiser to date for the Rotary Club of Lake Butler.

Together, we were able to raise far beyond anything we have ever done before, completely blowing previous numbers out of the water, and that is because of every single one of you. Your generosity, excitement, and belief in what Rotary is doing within this community made this night what it was, and we cannot thank you enough for that.

That success did not happen because of one person. It happened because an entire community came together with heart, purpose, and a willingness to support something bigger than themselves. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part in making this evening unforgettable.

And while we may be a little biased… we think Lake Butler wore western elegance exceptionally well that night. Safe to say, there was a little Wild West magic lingering beneath those barn lights. 🤠🤍

As we continue reflecting on what an incredible An Evening of Western Inspired Cuisine: Saddle Up Soirée Reimagined A Taste of the West was, we wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank the many individuals and businesses who generously donated items to help bring this evening to life.

From auction items and décor pieces to floral elements and thoughtful contributions throughout the evening, this event truly would not have been possible without the generosity of our community. So many people stepped forward simply because they believe in what Rotary is doing and wanted to help create something meaningful and memorable for Lake Butler.

Your generosity allows the Rotary Club of Lake Butler to continue serving our community throughout the year through scholarships, local outreach, patriotic flag displays, support for local families, community initiatives, and projects that create a lasting impact right here at home.

To every individual and business who donated items in support of this event ; thank you. Every contribution played a meaningful role in making this evening possible, and every act of generosity was deeply appreciated.

This event was successful because an entire community came together with a shared purpose, and we are incredibly proud of what can be accomplished when people support one another.

We are already looking ahead with excitement to our Lake Butler Rotary Independence Day Celebration coming this July, and we cannot wait to celebrate with all of you again soon.

This morning, Lake Butler Rotary Club President Alexandra Pritchett and Treasurer/Secretary Melissa Williams had the honor of presenting the Lake Butler Rotary scholarships to this year’s salutatorian and valedictorian, along with several additional student awards.

Moments like these are a reminder of why we do what we do. Investing in the next generation of leaders, dreamers, and hardworking students is one of the greatest privileges of serving our community.

To the Class of 2026, congratulations on all you have accomplished. Whether your next chapter leads you to college, a career, trade school, or somewhere completely unexpected, we hope you walk into it with confidence and pride in how far you’ve already come.

We know your families are incredibly proud of you, and today, we just wanted you to know that your community is proud too. Wishing each of you success, purpose, and happiness in whatever road lies ahead. 🎓🤍

For all those attending An Evening of Western Inspired Cuisine: Saddle Up Soirée Reimagined A Taste of the West, the Rotary Club of Lake Butler fundraiser tomorrow evening, please take a moment to review the attire details and event information below in case you missed it.

I wanted to personally thank each of you for choosing to be part of this evening. It truly means more than I can say, and I am so honored to welcome you to what is shaping up to be an unforgettable experience.

This night has been thoughtfully built from the ground up, with intention behind every detail. At the heart of it all is an elevated culinary experience that I cannot wait for you to enjoy. From the flavors to the presentation to the overall atmosphere, every element has been carefully curated to create something immersive, refined, and unlike anything we’ve done before. It is designed to be an evening that lingers long after it’s over.

As you begin to prepare, the tone for the evening is Western Elegance : a look that feels elevated, intentional, and refined, while still embracing the spirit of the West.

For the ladies, this is a beautiful opportunity to lean into dresses with movement, texture, and detail. Fringe, statement belts, boots, and hats are all welcome and encouraged. We are asking that the more casual look of denim be set aside for the evening, allowing the overall atmosphere to remain polished and cohesive. For those who prefer an alternative, a thoughtfully styled pantsuit with western elements is equally fitting.

For the gentlemen, dinner jackets or sport coats paired with your choice of pant will set the tone perfectly. A look that feels clean, confident, and well-appointed will complement the evening in all the right ways.
