BSA Pack & Troop 140 are doing our yearly meat stick fundraiser! Valentine's Day is right around the corner and we also have meat stick bouquets available for sale.

Meat sticks- $2/stick

Half Dozen Bouquet- $15

Dozen Bouquet- $30

All bouquets have candy and meat sticks!

Pre-orders are open, and if you preorder, you can pick from the 11 flavors.

Church family and City of Lake Butler Community: Water line has been repaired. Everyone's water should be coming back on now. We are on 24 hour boil order.

Just want to say how much we appreciate the crews that worked around the clock for more than 36 hours to get the repairs made, in rain, and quickly dropping temps.

Santa is coming to Lake Butler Woman's Club.! Toy Giveaway! Friday December 23rd Noon-4 PM Open to area residents. Come catch a last minute visit with St. Nick himself before he heads out to start his rounds! Photos allowed and encouraged!

We thank the individuals, organizations and businesses that have made this incredible event possible.

Donations from Florida Georgia Stuffed Animals for Emergencies, Marine Corps Toys for Tots, Lake Butler Elementary School, Dollar General of Lake Butler and Worthington Springs and many private individuals.

Much gratitude to Sgt. Cory Marquart, USMC, Marine Corps Toys for Tots, for recognizing a need and finding a way to fill it, Ash Jacques for making surplus toy donations available for distribution, and Brian Reagan, USMC, American Legion Post 153 & Senior Minister, Lake Butler Church of Christ for handling the logistics and making the run to pick up toys from retired Marines at the Villages.
Special thanks to the Elixson family for the use of a trailer.

Once the toys arrived, it took the hard work, time and effort to pull it together. We thank FL-GA SAFE regional director Cate Reagan, and FL-GA SAFE Volunteers Sandra Ables and Amanda Crawford. Volunteers from Lake Butler Church of Christ and LBWC: Mark Ables, David Wiggins, Tyler Kelley, Michael Young, Lily Young, Kaleb Parrish, Sharon Brady, & Bobbie Williams with "Stockings of Love" and Boy Scouts Troop 140.

Our apologies to anyone not mentioned. We sincerely appreciate everyone's work, time and help to make this happen...and TOMORROW...IT IS HAPPENING! See you there!!
