AAU Baton Twirling

AAU Baton Twirling AAU Baton Twirling was created to allow all levels of baton twirlers the opportunity to compete in ev in the international sports federations.

The AAU was founded in 1888 to establish standards and uniformity in amateur sport. During its early years the AAU served as a leader in international sport representing the U.S. The AAU worked closely with the Olympic movement to prepare athletes for the Olympic games. After the Amateur Sports Act of 1978, the AAU has focused its efforts into providing sports programs for all participants of all

ages beginning at the grass roots level. The philosophy of "Sports for All, Forever," is shared by over 500,000 participants and over 50,000 volunteers. The AAU is divided into 56 distinct Districts. These Districts annually sanction more than 34 sports programs, 250 national championships, and over 30,000 age division events.

COACHES, TWIRLERS AND PARENTS!! Such a fun way to promote sportsmanship and help all participants build relationships with someone new. We can’t wait to see you and all of your cute buttons at the AAU Baton Twirling Junior Olympic Games in Iowa!
Suggestions on buttons:
1. Find a company that can print actual buttons and order from them. A lot will run specials or even discounts for first time customers.
2. Any size button works, but it is suggested no larger than 2.5
3. Order Clear Button Pins from Amazon and make your own inserts for the pin (you can use round labels for the inserts).
The twirlers loved to trade pins with one another and pin them on their lanyards
