Encore Performing Arts is currently seeking a Director of Education to lead and manage our growing youth programming. This volunteer leadership role is responsible for overseeing the development, coordination, and ex*****on of all educational initiatives, including classes, workshops, and youth productions. The Director of Education plays a critical role in shaping the student experience, supporting instructional, creative, and production staff, and building strong relationships with families and the community.
This role has a dual reporting relationship to the Executive Producer and the Creative Director, and serves as the primary leader of Encore’s education function, ensuring programs are high-quality, organized, and aligned with Encore’s mission. The time commitment is approximately 5–8 hours per week (minimum 20 hours per month), with increased involvement during program launches, showcases, and production periods. This is an ongoing volunteer appointment with flexible scheduling.
