Friends of LaGrange Memorial Library programs and fundraisers.

11/01/2026

Friends of LaGrange Memorial Library has been offered a massive donation of books from an estate, probably the largest we've ever dealt with. The books belonged to a retired media specialist, and the collection includes many children's books as well as her personal volumes.

We need a large truck to get them from Atlanta to LaGrange. While we could rent one, we'd prefer to have one offered for free to have more money to support the library and its programs.

If you know anyone who has a 12- or 16-foot cargo truck like this one available for use by our nonprofit group, please let us know. We would gladly pay for the fuel. We aim to move the books later this month.

Thanks.
