The "Up All Night" Christmas dinner served over 850 people with 40 volunteers. Leftovers from the dinner, included several turkeys and hams, which will be used for the Martin Luther King dinner, Monday, January 20th, at Saint James C.M.E. Church, 106 Revis Street, Lagrange, GA from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
We are in need of desserts and drinks, which organizer Jake Sessions is hoping some will be willing to donate by Friday, January 17th. The annual Martin Luther King dinner serves children living in the LaGrange housing projects and the home-bound disabled.
Donations may be dropped off at the church, or Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home at 201 Hamilton Road, Lagrange, GA.
Mr. Sessions may be contacted directly at (706) 884-6963.
