We are having a "chicken drive" fundraiser on 06-20-2026, what's a chicken drive you ask? JR Hilty is making the chicken and will arive here at the COA/LCAT office around 7 am next Saturday. Our goal is to have 30 drivers that will drive around the two "runners" in the vehicle with them to go on a set route to basically sell chicken! The chicken is by donation and is available at our office as well . We still need drivers and runners.

I was also asked why we need to do a fundraiser, our transportation grant only covers 50% of our expenses for transit. We are responsible for raising all the rest of the money and we are not a county entity where they pay for everything. If you would like more information call our office. We really do need more volunteers to make this fundraiser a success!

We need someone to take pictures at our luncheons every month ! Doesn’t have to be anyone even professional! Phones would even work! We are too busy serving our seniors their monthly luncheon and do not have time to take pictures ! It’s the third Monday of every month from 1130-1230!
