The goal of NE Indiana Hunt for Heroes is to assist or introduce local Veterans and youth to the outdoors! Applications will be dispersed throughout LaGrange, Steuben, Noble, and Dekalb counties, where applicants can apply for a fall fi****ms deer hunt on private property owned by LaGrange County. The hunt will take place on the second weekend of Indiana fi****ms season. In order to apply for a Ve
terans hunt, we only ask that you are a resident of the listed Counties above, and served either Active or Reserve duty. (check local Sheriff's Office or American Legions for applications)
Applications must be received by October 1st! Hunters will be served breakfast on the Saturday morning of the hunt. Hunters will be required to sign a waiver prior to hunting and will be responsible for purchasing their own deer license. All hunters will be hunting out of a ground blind with 1-2 hunting guides with them at all times. Hunters will be assisted with processing deer. APPLICATIONS TO BE SENT TO:
