Boozefighters Motorcycle Club - Chapter 36 - Lafayette

Boozefighters Motorcycle Club - Chapter 36 - Lafayette Founded in 1946, the Boozefighters® Motorcycle Club is one of the original clubs that forged the spirit of American biker culture.

Our story roared to life at the iconic 1947 Hollister Rally and continues today in Acadiana. Laissez les bons temps rouler! The Boozefighters® Motorcycle Club was founded in 1946 in Los Angeles by a group of World War II veterans who became disillusioned with life after the war, these men sought the camaraderie, excitement, and brotherhood they missed from their military service. The club gained n

ational attention at the 1947 Hollister rally, an event that inspired the classic film The Wild One and helped shape the image of American biker culture. The Boozefighters® quickly became known for their passion for riding and their playful, rebellious approach to life. They tore through the California hills, conquered the Baja Desert, and raced across the Bonneville Salt Flats. Although labeled an “Outlaw Club” for not joining the American Motorcycle Association (AMA), the Boozefighters® were never a criminal organization. Then and now, they are a brotherhood of men who value freedom, loyalty, and the open road. The Boozefighters® Motorcycle Club remains dedicated to its founding values: brotherhood, respect, good times, and adventure.
