What a day at Middle Atlantic Swimming, Inc Silver Championships! Two 🥇 are coming home for CCA: Jack Manning in the 13-14 100 Breaststroke, and Kyle Peters in the 13-14 200 Backstroke! Kyle also finished 8th in the 50 free and 12th in the 100 fly!

Other finalists included Scarlet James in the 100 breast (4th); Olivia McCarthy in the 500 free (6th), 200 back (9th), 100 free (9th), and 50 back (11th); and Jimmy Forgione in the 100 fly (12th).

The girls 11-12 medley relay finished fifth, and the boys 13-14 medley relay was 8th. Carly Chapman, Tripp Ciammetti, Cooper Clark, Penelope Eckroade, Aidan Matthews, Riley McGlaughlin, and Maci Pagano also turned in many personal bests and time drops.

WOW! Our 10U swimmers kicked off champs season in a big way this weekend! All 7 of our 10U swimmers qualified for champs, and they had an incredible weekend. On Saturday, the girls 200 medley relay of Naomi Matthews, Quinn Hartel, Kiera Clark, and Harper Oldham placed SECOND overall. Quinn Hartel made it back to the podium two more times before the end of the meet - placing SECOND in the 50 breaststroke and THIRD in the 100 IM.

We are extremely proud of this whole group for their strong performances in the water but also for how they conducted themselves on deck. They impressed us all weekend with their positive attitudes, respectfulness, and sportsmanship. Way to go, Emmy, Harper, Kiera, Lana, Naomi, James, and Quinn! We are so proud of you.

REMINDER: If you were a registered swimmer/diver this season and you DID NOT PICK UP your team gift and any ribbons/awards at Sunday’s banquet, PLEASE STOP BY PWHS TONIGHT (Wednesday, March 4) between 5:30 and 8:00. So many smiling faces we needed to break the picture in two! Sunday night marked the end of CCA’s TENTH SEASON (🤯) as a club, and it was our greatest one yet! Thank you to all our families for coming out, and congratulations to all of our award winners!

A HUGE thanks to our coaches for making such an incredible season possible, and a round of applause to our board volunteers for coordinating another season-ending celebration!

Best of luck to our USA Swimming swimmers who will compete in the upcoming 10 & Under, Silver, and Junior championships! We will see the rest of you in the fall for another great year!

A HUGE congratulations to CCA’s own Austin Alderfer, who took the District 1 AAA 🥇 on Thursday to become the first ever Plymouth Whitemarsh male diver to win the district title!

Best of luck to the female divers on Friday night at districts, and to Austin as he moves on to the PIAA state championships at Bucknell next month! We’ll be watching!

What a way to finish! Our Suburban Athletic League season wrapped up over the weekend with the ❄️-delayed A Champs at Upper Dublin! There were too many personal bests and medals and ribbons to count! Our coaches are exhausted just from sorting them!

Special Gold Medal 🥇 shoutouts to:

- Audrey Mandel in the girls 11-12 100 free (Summer Sun earned 🥈)
- Emma Simons in the girls 13-14 100 free & 50 free
- Shane Cowley in the boys open 200 free & open 200 IM!

We can’t wait to celebrate an amazing season at our annual banquet! And best of luck to our USA Swimming team in their final meets of the season and championships in March!

We’re FLIPPING OUT at the performances over the weekend from our CCA divers! The marathon of Suburban Aquatic League Championship meets began Friday night and ended Sunday afternoon, and CCA was EVERYWHERE!

Things kicked off Friday night with Austin Alderfer taking home the 🥇 in the senior boys competition, followed closely by Michael DeLucca in 4th place and Paxon Zebley in 5th. On the senior girls side, Brianna Zummo finished 4th.

In Saturday’s 11&U boys event, four CCA divers qualified for the A championship event: Ben Koller (6th), Colin Bahnck (7th), Caiden Boyle (11th) & Preston Baker (13th). Blake Leck finished 4th in the Division standings.

On the 11&U girls side, CCA took three of the top six spots, with Mara Srirangam winning 🥇! She was followed by Sarah Moore (4th), Cora Barclay (6th) & Grace Hulitt (12th). In the division (B) event, Scarlett Fricke was 3rd, Evelyn Boyle was 10th & Harper Oldham was 11th.

In 14&U Girls, Pyper Zebley won the 🥉 in A Champs, followed by Lorelei Baker (7th) @ Ann Marie Alderfer (8th). Capri Kenefic was the B Champ winner, followed by Lily Barclay (3rd).

Finally, in 14&U boys, Max Sabato made@it to A champs, where he finished 11th. Sean Boyd just missed As, but was the No. 1 finisher in B champs!

CCA is SO PROUD of all of our divers! We take great pride in our diving program, and it would not exist without our amazing coaches, who spent the ENTIRE WEEKEND at CB South. Thank you to Coach Amy, Coach Adam, Coach Emily and of course to Amy Baker, who volunteers her time to keep the diving 🚂 on track. CONGRATS ON AN AMAZING SEASON!
