Join us, Thursday, September 17th at CityPlace LaGrange for our annual fundraiser dinner, silent auction, and live auction. Go online to our website at https://www.goodnewshomesky.org and you will see where to RSVP! As of right now the pay online isn't working but hopefully it will be soon! Also - if you normally receive an invitation through the mail and haven't - something went wrong with the labels and around 6 invites were sent back to us. We apologize!!

Camp GNH this week was blessed with a vase project from Melanie with Blossom Ridge Flower Farm! We painted vases, worked together on Tetris, and learned about the 4 friends who had faith to take their other friend to Jesus to he healed. We also had a visit from Ms. Julie from the Oldham County Public Library who brought goodies and books for everyone!! And thank you to Pastor Don Wright and Bambi Wright for the ice cream treats for our Bedford group!!

Thank you to the kids of Ballardsville Baptist Church for collecting over $900 for the ministries of Good News Homes. Pastor Jason Wallin and VBS leader Morgan Inman had to both eat some pickle jello because the boys and girls tied in the offering competition. So much fun!!

Fun and water soaked day for Camp GNH! We had a great day! Mrs. Stacy told the story of Jesus calming the storm, we made t-shirt bags and fun water drinks. We also spent some time slinging water on each other!! Thank you to Stacy Nall, Melanie from Blossom Ridge Flower Farm and Vicki and Dotty from Trimble homemakers who helped us out today!

This week's Camp GNH was a hot one but we persevered! We made 4th of July stars that Pamela Sage put together, made our own fruit pizzas, and heard the story of Peter released from prison. Love our kiddos and are so thankful! Thank you to Mary and Pastor Don Wright for helping out in Bedford and to Julia Skeens, Mckenzie and Jeff for helping out as well!! Our tie dyed shirts were also done thanks to Ms. Corina Cory Monnin!

2nd week of Camp GNH. The theme was Messy!! We talked about how life gets messy when we worry, some of their worries ranged from lions to school to dying, very honest answers. We talked about giving our messy worries to God and how He hears us and cares for us even through the messy times of life. We then tie dyed and slime plus made snowcones. We were all messy by the time it was done! Thank you to Abby and Mary from Union Grove Church, Breanna Robak and Robert Pringle and our own family members, Jeff, Jayda Skeens and Julia Skeens.

How do you know it's summer at GNH? We have a pool party, a life skills class and Camp GNH all in 5 days, but we love it! Kicked off our 2nd annual Camp GNH this morning . . . Even had some kiddos whose families have already graduated through program. Our theme was camping and God's Creation complete with silly Camp songs and stories, leaf rubbing, smores and the Creation story from Genesis. Thank you Abby and Mary from Union Grove Church in Milton, Stacy from Grafenberg Baptist in Shelby, and Bre and McKenzie former GNH graduates.

Our families were blessed with a pool party Friday night at the John Black Aquatic Center. A kind volunteer paid for us to rent the pool and to have pizza!! 🏊‍♀️ ⛱️ A good time was had by all!!
