How do you know it's summer at GNH? We have a pool party, a life skills class and Camp GNH all in 5 days, but we love it! Kicked off our 2nd annual Camp GNH this morning . . . Even had some kiddos whose families have already graduated through program. Our theme was camping and God's Creation complete with silly Camp songs and stories, leaf rubbing, smores and the Creation story from Genesis. Thank you Abby and Mary from Union Grove Church in Milton, Stacy from Grafenberg Baptist in Shelby, and Bre and McKenzie former GNH graduates.

Thank you so much to Grove Elementary first grade team and students for organizing this fundraiser for us! Today was our inaugural Clean Team debut! Thank you to Trudy, Stacy, Woody and Kim for helping us clean 2 apartments today. We also spent a moment praying for those who will eventually live in the units. So thankful! So far in 2026, we have housed 29 families in our TH program. This number includes 46 children who were in a housing crisis. Below is some special art work from one of our littles whose mom was in for a case management meeting. We celebrate with these mostly single mamas and even one single dad, for taking that first step to reach out for help and for working hard to make sure their families can transition to permanent and stable housing.

Camp GNH Bedford: yesterday we were able to hang out with our kiddos from Trimble at the Trimble County Public Library. We played cards including a fiesty round of Old Maid, crafted and played Jenga and Tetris. This family has recently graduated our program, but we wanted to have our spring Camp GNH with them!
