This Saturday, June 20th, 9:30 a.m. to Noon, Cook Memorial Library - Get ready for a colorful morning of art, awareness, and awesomeness! 🎨 SILG is hosting a Chalk It Up To Rett Syndrome event to help spread the word and raise money to Reverse Rett.

🍞 Grab a sidewalk square for $20 and unleash your inner Picasso (or, you know, just have fun making a mess 😂). Chalk is on us, and there's even a story time and free craft hour in the library to keep the good vibes going! Come join the party and help us support this amazing cause! 🎉

Soroptimist International of La Grande was happy to support the La Grande Parks and Recreation splash pad remodel by awarding $30,000 toward the community project.

The Live Your Dream Award provides women who serve as the primary financial providers for their families with the financial resources to offset costs associated with their efforts to attain higher education or additional skills and training.

Founded in 1941, the Soroptimist International of La Grande club is part of Soroptimist International of the Americas, a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. Soroptimist, a 501(c)(3) organization that relies on charitable donations to support its programs, also powers LiveYourDream.org, an online community offering offline volunteer opportunities in support of women and girls.
