This funding is to support Eastern Oregon communities! Application open now, funds to be spent by June. We want to hear about your projects!

EOWB community project funding supports projects meeting key goals: To expand proven workforce models to new areas, Pilot high-need, business-driven initiatives, Replicate successful models regionally, Include underrepresented populations or Upskill or retain 5+ employees through company training programs.

[Our programs are funded in whole or in part with public funds from the US Department of Labor, Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) and the Eastern Oregon Workforce Board (EOWB).]

OWEB is now accepting online applications for the Winter 2027 Open Solicitation Grant Offering inlcluding:
Restoration
Technical Assistance
Engagement

These grants support voluntary efforts by Oregonians to protect and restore healthy watersheds, including actions supporting the Oregon Plan for Salmon and Watersheds and the Oregon Wildlife Action Plan.

Eligible Applicants: Any Tribe, watershed council, soil and water conservation district, not-for-profit corporation, school, Oregon institution of higher education, independent not-for-profit institution of higher education, or political subdivision of this state that is not a state agency. A state agency or federal agency may partner with an eligible entity.

📢 The Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB) is now accepting online applications for the Partnership Technical Assistance Grant Offering.

Applications to the Partnership Technical Assistance grant program must demonstrate a pathway to future restoration or acquisition projects.
Eligible applicants must be one of the following: local or tribal government, non-profit organization, Oregon institution for higher learning, or independent not-for-profit institutions of higher education.

💵 Applicants can request up to $150,000 in this offering, and projects can last up to three years. OWEB expects to distribute up to $500,000 under this offering.

⏰ Applications are due by 5:00 pm (PT) on December 14, 2026.
