Reminder that we will be meeting at 10:00AM at landing 12 near Rockton if you want to take a leisurely walk with Friends of KVR on the Old 131 Trail!
Plan for an hour round trip walk. The weather looks like it will be clear, but a bit chilly.

Friends of KVR is announcing a new seasonal event called Walk with Friends! Every quarter, we will meet and walk the Old 131 Trail. That’s it - simply a walk to get to know other Friends and enjoy the changing of the seasons at KVR together!

Bring your own water, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes. We will meet at Landing 12 in Rockton at 10am on Sunday, March 28th for the Spring Walk with Friends.

Spring Walk with Friends

Friends of KVR is announcing a new seasonal event called Walk with Friends! Every quarter, we will meet and walk the Old 131 Trail. That’s it - simply a walk to get to know other Friends and enjoy the changing of the seasons at KVR together!

We've never had to worry about flooding for Winter Festival before, but as they say, never say never..... the KVR received over 2.4 inches of rain over night. That won't stop us!
Winter Festival IS ON!
See you Saturday, January 10, 2026 for as much fun as we can have with the snow we have left! Everyone is welcome!

The festival begins at 10am and ends at 4pm. There will be lots of activities to enjoy and we even saved some snow to play in! Come dressed for the weather and enjoy a day outdoors with us!
Raptor talk is at 11am and 1pm
Chili and Bread contest starts at 11am
Enjoy concessions by Friends of KVR
Silent Auction and Raffle open at 10am and close at 3pm.

Come join us for a fun day outdoors, no matter the weather!
