On our November 19th meeting the kids designed their own family crests. They let everyone know things that their families liked to do together. After that the kids and some of the adults played a fun game of charades. Before it was time to leave we were informed of an egg drop we will be doing in the month of December.

Combined our last meeting in October with our first meeting in November. During these two meetings we cut out the stars from retired flags (totaling 450 stars). We also packaged them and they were given to some local vets at the Veterans Day program.

At our first Scout meeting we worked on the Scout oath and law.

Our first official Cub Scout meeting consisted of the scouts creating their own sailboat out of recycled materials and racing them in the official ‘Rain Gutter Regatta’.
