The LaBelle Fire Department was blessed to join our community at this morning’s 9/11 Memorial Service as we came together with the 9/11 Memorial Fund to honor and remember the men and women who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, as well as the courageous first responders who answered the call.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in remembrance and helped ensure that the sacrifices made that day are never forgotten.
Thank you to the LaBelle High School Honor Guard for the Presentation of the Colors during this morning’s ceremony. We are grateful for their participation in helping us honor the lives and sacrifices of those we remember today.
A special thank you to the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office, Hendry County EMS, Florida Highway Patrol, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and LaBelle Fire Department for taking part in the solemn ringing of the bell. The bell was rung at the time each plane struck, marking those moments and honoring the lives forever changed and lost that day.
May we always remember their courage, their sacrifice, and their service. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
