UPDATE – BOAT FIRE

The fire involving three boats has been extinguished.

LaBelle Fire Department remains on scene. Clewiston Fire Department, Bayshore Fire Department, and Alva Fire Department have cleared the scene.

The Florida State Fire Marshal’s Office is also on scene.

No further information is available at this time.

Three Boats Actively Burning; Fire Suppression Underway

LaBelle Fire Department is currently on scene of an active fire involving three boats.

Fire suppression efforts are currently in progress, with LaBelle Fire Department, Clewiston Fire Department, and Bayshore Fire Department working together to bring the fire under control.

The incident remains active at this time. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.

We have firefighters and apparatus stationed at Station 3, fully staffed and ready to respond quickly should an emergency arise.

This past week, Chief Stevens, Public Information Officer J Hubbard, and Captain Hubbard proudly represented the LaBelle Fire Department at the Florida Fire Chiefs’ Association Executive Development Conference.

The Executive Development Conference brings together fire service leaders from across Florida to strengthen leadership, enhance professional development, and share innovative strategies that improve emergency services. Throughout the conference, attendees participated in sessions focused on leadership, organizational culture, strategic planning, firefighter health and wellness, risk reduction, emergency management, and the latest trends impacting the fire service.

By learning from industry experts and collaborating with fire service professionals from around the state, our members gained valuable knowledge and practical tools that will help strengthen our department, improve operational effectiveness, and continue providing the highest level of service to the citizens and visitors of LaBelle.🔥🚒👨🏼‍🚒

It was an honor to witness Olde Florida Motorcoach & RV Resort raise their new American flag on a 95-foot pole in celebration of Independence Day tomorrow. 🇺🇸

The LaBelle Fire Department is proud to have taken part in the ceremony and to watch our community come together for such a meaningful event. Moments like these are a beautiful reminder of the patriotism, unity, and small-town spirit that make LaBelle so special.
