๐ Meet Kelly Sweet, a dedicated community leader and advocate for youth in Highlands County! ๐
Kelly is the Service Center Manager at Suncoast Credit Union in Sebring, where she is passionate about helping people achieve their goals, building meaningful relationships, and making a positive impact in the community she has called home for more than 30 years.
Kellyโs passion for community involvement extends well beyond the workplace. She serves on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast and is also a Big to her Little, Dakari. Through their weekly visits, Kelly has experienced firsthand the power of showing up, building trust, and providing a consistent, positive presence in a young personโs life. Watching Dakari grow in confidence and make progress in school and behavior has reinforced her belief that sometimes, the greatest impact we can make is simply being there.
Having spent more than three decades in Highlands County, Kelly understands the importance of investing in the community that has helped shape her life. Her commitment to service is rooted in the belief that meaningful change starts with people who are willing to show up, lend a hand, and make a difference, even in the smallest ways.
For Kelly, mentorship is about more than being a role model. Itโs about building relationships, creating possibilities, and reminding children that someone believes in them and their future. She is proud to be part of a mission that empowers young people to reach their full potential and is passionate about helping ensure that every child has the opportunity to feel supported, encouraged, and seen.
๐ Because sometimes, changing a life starts with simply showing up. ๐
