Today, we were honored to host Knoxville Leadership Foundation's "Knoxville Area Mentoring Initiative" to learn more about mental health challenges youth in our city could be facing. We had community friends join our Emerald Youth staff from Knoxville Leadership Foundation, Boys and Girls Club of the Tennessee Valley, Girl Scouts of Southern Appalachians, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee. We are so thankful to host this important discussion and come away with additional education to help serve our city's young people.

As a full summer approaches, we remain dedicated to the health and well-being our city's young people. Through Emerald Youth University, our staff receive training in CPR, AED and other safety skills so they will be prepared in case of an emergency.

Safe to say the day went swimmingly! 😉🌊 We’re thankful for the volunteers and staff who helped make our free swim days not only fun, but safe. More than 300 children spent time learning water safety skills, growing more confident in the pool, and getting ready for a summer full of fun in the sun. 🏊‍♀️🌞
