Slated for Grace Ministries

Slated for Grace Ministries began in May of 2020, as an online ministry geared towards women who hunger to better understand the Word of God.

Slated for Grace Ministries exists to proclaim the Word of God to women, in order to connect every woman's story to God's greater story, inspiring a hunger for God's Word, a confidence to serve others, and a life of ultimate freedom in Jesus Christ. Today, it is a non-profit organization that continues to strengthen women in the Word of God, surrounding them with a safe space for community, so that they might confidently serve and strengthen others in Jesus's name. Through free online resources (such as Bible study video series, daily devotionals, and prayer groups) and in-person gatherings (such as seasonal small groups and large group Bible studies), SfG is called to engage with women in authentic ways, helping them connect their unique stories to God's greater story. Have you ever done everything you know to do about a situation, but still can’t stop thinking about it?

You replay the conversations, run through every possible outcome, and wonder if there’s something else you should be doing.

In Ruth 3:18, Naomi tells Ruth to wait. Ruth had taken the steps she could, and now the outcome was out of her hands.

And sometimes that’s exactly where we find ourselves.

You can do your part and still trust God with the rest. You don’t have to have all the answers to have peace in His presence.

Waiting is not easy, and WHILE we're waiting, the temptation is often to sit in our feelings - our worry, our pain - and to STAY THERE - stay in bed, stay inside, stay away from the world...

But, friend, keep going. Keep walking. Keep working. The Lord hasn't left you, and he wants you to truly LIVE each of your God-given days.

Why is it so much easier to offer help than to ask for it? 😅
In Ruth 3, Ruth makes a vulnerable request without knowing how Boaz will respond.

And I think there’s something we can learn from that.

You can be strong, capable, responsible, and faithful... and still need help.

Whether it’s asking your husband to take something off your plate, telling a friend you’re struggling, or reaching out for prayer, you don’t have to carry everything by yourself.

Sometimes asking is the brave thing. 🤍

Sometimes we’re so focused on the big thing we’re asking God to do that we miss the smaller ways He’s already caring for us.

In Ruth 2, Naomi’s circumstances hadn’t completely changed.

She was still grieving. Her future was still uncertain.

But when Ruth came home with food and told her about Boaz, Naomi began to recognize God’s kindness in her life again.

Maybe there’s something in your life today that deserves a second look.

A friendship. An unexpected provision. A small answer to prayer. A moment of peace in an otherwise difficult week.
There can still be good in a season you wouldn’t have chosen. 🤍

Save this prayer for the days when you’re having a hard time seeing it.

Ruth 2:3 says, “As it turned out, she was working in a field belonging to Boaz...”

Ruth thought she was simply going out to find food for the day. She had no idea how significant that ordinary decision would become.

I wonder how many moments in our own lives are like that.
Sometimes we can only recognize God’s guidance when we look back and see how everything came together. 🤍

It’s so easy to get caught up in waiting for the next thing. The next opportunity. The next answered prayer. The next season when life finally feels a little easier.

But there’s still life to be lived right now.

Ruth didn’t know what her future held when she walked into that field. She simply did what she could with the day in front of her.

Keep praying for what’s ahead. But don’t overlook what God has placed in front of you today. 🤍
