I was recently asked, Why do we do what we do?

At Kirkwood, it’s about more than just sports. It’s about providing the resources that help 150+ coaches turn 600+ student-athletes into responsible, functional adults. When you see the impact athletics has on these kids, "doing your part" becomes an easy choice.

⛳ Pioneer Sports Fans.

We are thrilled to announce that we have officially sold our third foursome for the upcoming Jim Scott Golf Tournament!

Even more exciting? We’ve secured our Buffet Sponsor, officially kickstarting our journey toward our $20,000 fundraising goal.

Our goal is a total sell-out. With 3 spots filled, we have 29 foursomes remaining. We need the Kirkwood community to help us fill the field to support the Kirkwood Athletic Boosters.

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our Golf Committee and help make our largest fundraiser of the year a success. Whether you’re a golf pro or just want to support our student-athletes, we need your help!

Impact: Supports every Kirkwood student-athlete across all sports.

Commitment: 2–6 hours per month.

Registration is officially OPEN for the 27th Annual Kirkwood Athletic Boosters Jim Scott Memorial Golf Tournament! This PBIs' biggest event of the year, and we need your help to hit our goal.
We are looking for 32 foursomes (only 128 golfers!) to join us on the course. Whether you're a regular at the club or just want to support our Kirkwood student-athletes, we want to see you there!

Nothing like turning the calendar to 2026 and realizing we’re 60 years old! 🗓️

It turns out—based on some historical documents—that the Pioneer Athletic Boosters has been supporting Kirkwood Sports teams since 1966! Check out the attached article and letter.

A 60th anniversary is a huge milestone, and we definitely need to celebrate. Stay tuned for more on how PBI will be marking the occasion.

As I’m sure Coach Lenich and Joe are saying in that photo: "Go Big Red!"

Dear Santa,
I hope this letter finds you well and that I’m not too late to submit my list! I truly believe the Kirkwood Athletic Boosters have been extra good this year. We’ve worked hand-in-hand with our KHS communities to support every one of our 25 sports programs.

During the Spring and Fall seasons, our concession stands were busy workshops! We served:

10,809 refreshing drinks

5,085 sweet candy treats

3,033 stadium hotdogs

Because of that hard work, we were able to deliver a $75,000 gift shared among ALL Kirkwood sports teams! We also helped our Pioneer families save a little jingle by selling 150 Punch Cards for sporting events.

If you could tuck a few extra items under the tree for our student-athletes and boosters, we’d be ever so grateful:

-New Volunteers to join our board and help us reach our PBI goals.

-Generous Donors to invest in the bright future of KHS athletics.

-Sponsors to help us tee off a successful Jim Scott Golf Tournament on July 13th, 2026 - more to come

-More Academic All-State honors, Conference Titles, District Championships, and exciting Final Four appearances!

Friendly reminder about the Kirkwood Athletics Boosters meeting tonight from 6:30 to 7:30. Enter in at the Chopin doors and the Health class room is past the Denver Miller Gym.

With all the Holiday parties the past weekend and more to come, maybe we do want to do a few sets of Burpees 🤔
