PBA 341 is proud to support and participate in the Law Enforcement Torch Run benefitting the Special Olympics. Our leg of the run went from Butler Police Headquarters to ShopRite of Lincoln Park. Participating on behalf of PBA 341 were Chief Napoletano, Skyler Conte, Brian Beier, and Michael Byrnes.

PBA 341 is looking forward to the addition of our two newest members, Brian Beier and Michael Byrnes, who graduated from the Morris County Police Academy. Congratulations to these two gentlemen on the start of a long and successful career.

Today, members of PBA 341 attended the Memorial Day Observation on the Kinnelon Green to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for this nation. These brave men and women protected the rights and freedoms that allow us to enjoy this beautiful nation for all that it has to offer. We ask you to take some time during your day to remember all those who gave their lives for you and your families. Have a safe Memorial Day and remember why we gather today. 🇺🇸

On Tuesday, May 5th, 2026, Sergeant James Economou, who served as PBA 341 delegate prior to promotion, graduated from the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP) Command and Leadership Academy.

In 1993, NJSACOP officials traveled to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point to work with the Academy’s Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership to adapt the fabled West Point model of command and leadership to the needs of law enforcement.

The result of this collaboration is the NJSACOP Command & Leadership Academy, a unique blend of theory and application. Candidates with the greatest leadership potential are selected for this highly competitive program from municipal, county, state, and federal agencies from throughout the region.

Sergeant Economou joins Chief Napoletano, Captain Cifelli, Lieutenant Shortway, and Lieutenant Mucci as members of the Kinnelon Police Department to have completed this intensive, demanding course.

Our 13th Annual Beefsteak will be on May 16th, 2026 at 7pm at OLM in Kinnelon. Tickets are $65/person with tables of 8-12 available. Please reach out if you’re interested in attending, tickets sell fast every year.
