Please Keep Our Auxiliary in Your Prayers 🙏

Our hearts are especially heavy this week as our St. Anthony’s Columbiettes family mourns the passing of three of our Sister Columbiettes — Susan Rush, Jessie Scelsa and Helene Fitzpatrick.

To lose three members of our Auxiliary in such a short time has brought tremendous sadness to our sisterhood. We ask that you please keep their families, friends, and all of our Columbiette sisters in your prayers as we grieve their loss.

May we find comfort in our faith and in knowing that our sisters have been called home to the Lord.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. 🙏

Twenty-five years ago today, so many said goodbye to their loved ones, never knowing it would be for the last time.

As the years pass, may we never forget the innocent lives lost and the brave men and women who ran toward danger to help others.

Today, we ask God to hold those we lost in His eternal embrace, comfort the families who still carry their loss, and bless all who served and sacrificed.

May God bless America, today and always. 🇺🇸🙏
