The Interfaith Community Council of Fredericksburg is proud to host School Dressing Days 2026, an annual event providing free clothing and school supplies to eligible students in Head Start through 12th grade.

School Dressing Days Event Details
📅 Friday, July 24 & Saturday, July 25, 2026
⏰ 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
📍 The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Families who qualify can “shop” for free, selecting clothing and supplies that fit their child’s needs helping students head back to school with dignity and excitement.

💚 We’re excited to announce a new community partnership! 💚

Flora & Frankincense is proud to be partnering with King George Community Closet, Muddy Creek Self Storage and Lala's Fuzion to help support local families in our community.

We’re honored to serve as an official donation drop-off location along with Lala’s Fuzion for the upcoming Back to School Bash, organized by King George Community Closet and hosted by Muddy Creek Self Storage on Saturday, August 1st.

We’re currently accepting:
🎒 School supplies
👕 New or gently used clothing & shoes
🎒 Backpacks
🧴 Personal care items
🎁 Gift cards

Every donation helps local students start the school year feeling confident, prepared, and supported.

The best part? Our partnership doesn’t end after the Back to School Bash! Flora & Frankincense will continue serving as a year-round donation drop-off location for the King George Community Closet, alongside Lala’s Fusion, helping connect our community with neighbors in need.

At Flora & Frankincense, we believe wellness extends beyond what happens inside our shop. It’s about caring for our neighbors, lifting one another up, and building a stronger community together. ❤️
