So much goes on behind the scenes of a rescue , from Jennifer that continually TNRs and was my first call this morning, when I found a brand new baby kitten on my deck at 03:00 a.m.
The kitten had been cleaned and had good lungs as it was screaming.
I checked it out and knew I had to leave it to see if Mum was coming back, I got a heating pad and a blanket and kept it warm for 4 hours on the deck no Mum.
We fed the baby but knew it needed more.
I called Jennifer, she called Brandi in KG, the baby needed a transport as everyone had morning cat chores so Julie was called she picked up the kitty and dropped it too Brandi in Colonial Beach, who takes care of neonatal kittens.
The kitten had an issue ( off to the vet) Mum had dropped the kitty on the deck for help, now with this wonderful team the kitty has a chance.
It is definitely takes a village.
