Stevie's Ice Cream Celebrates Ribbon Cutting and New Ownership in Kilmarnock

KILMARNOCK, VA – The Lancaster by the Bay Chamber of Commerce was pleased to celebrate the ribbon cutting for Stevie's Ice Cream, located at 469 N. Main Street in Kilmarnock, on Saturday, May 30, 2026.

Community members, friends, family, and local business leaders gathered to welcome the new ownership team and celebrate the next chapter of one of Kilmarnock's most beloved traditions. The event drew a tremendous turnout, reflecting the community's enthusiasm and support for a business that has long been a favorite destination on Main Street.

Stevie's Ice Cream proudly invites visitors to "Come to the Hottest Place in Town... For the Coolest Treats Around!" The new owners have embraced the shop's rich history while bringing fresh energy and enthusiasm to the business. They describe Stevie's as "the happiest place on Main Street," a place where families, friends, and visitors can gather to enjoy delicious treats and create lasting memories.

"Stevie's Ice Cream represents so much of what makes our community special," said Leslie Jingluski, Executive Director of the Lancaster by the Bay Chamber of Commerce. "It offers a wonderful blend of tradition and nostalgia while continuing to create new experiences for residents and visitors alike. We are proud to celebrate this exciting new chapter and are thrilled to see such strong community support for a place that has become part of the fabric of the town we all call home."
