The KRWD is a non-profit, public benefit corporation and shall be operated exclusively for charitable, educational, and non-profit purposes. The KRWD's mission is to restore, maintain and improve the City of Kiel’s downtown public street and sidewalks, and to restore, maintain and improve the City of Kiel’s shoreline, walkways and millpond along the Sheboygan River. RWD provides a setting where neighbors can work together to increase cultural understanding, provide social support, and build trust for the benefit of the entire community. To maximize our impact on current efforts, we may seek to collaborate with other non-profit

Purchased and sponsored 40 season planters. Erected 3 larger than life size pieces of metal art, focusing on a river wildlife theme. Assisted in funding the entrance sign located on Highway 57 & Park Avenue. Financially contributed to the footbridge replacement fund. Sponsored / hosted events such as the Wine & Cheese Walk, Celebrate Kiel, Frolic on Fremont.
