Making a Difference, One Tab at a Time It all started around a campfire back in 2000 as a friendly competition to see who could collect the most can tabs.

A group of friends agreed to cash in whatever tabs they collected and donate the money to a worthy cause. Word spread, the collection grew, more people joined in, and now the group spans many miles, generations, and teams. In 20 years, the Happy Campers have collected almost 14,000 gallons of tabs and donated over $23K to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin (Milwaukee branch). Our goal remains simple - to raise money for a worthy cause. We'd love for you to join us in our mission to make a difference, one tab at a time.

🍂 What an incredible Fall Tab Weekend 2026! 🍂

Y’all truly brought your A-game, and we couldn’t be more grateful for another amazing weekend coming together to support such a beautiful cause! ❤️

Thanks to your incredible generosity and support, we collected a whopping 8️⃣1️⃣7️⃣ gallons of tabs in 2026!

That brings our grand total to 2️⃣0️⃣,0️⃣6️⃣5️⃣ gallons collected since 2001! How AMAZING is that?! 🎉

We couldn’t do this without each and every one of you. Thank you for continuing to show up, give back, and make a difference year after year. You all are what makes this community so special!

☀️ Hello, Happy Campers!

First, a very overdue Spring Tab Weekend update! 😅 That's on me, Brittney, your marketing department. Mom life got the best of me, and I may have been keeping you all on your toes a little longer than intended. But in all seriousness...

What an incredible weekend it was! 💛

Thanks to your generosity and support, we collected 2️⃣2️⃣6️⃣ gallons of tabs during Spring Tab Weekend 2026, bringing our grand total to an amazing 1️⃣9️⃣,4️⃣7️⃣4️⃣ gallons collected since 2001! 🙌

On top of that, we received $194.23 in cash donations through drink sales, balloon animals, and even the loose change discovered in the tabs! We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed in these extra ways. Every dollar raised helps support families staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities and makes a meaningful difference when they need it most.

Thank you to everyone who collected, donated, volunteered, and showed up to support the mission. Your kindness and commitment continue to keep this tradition going strong year after year.

We appreciate each and every one of you. ❤️

A reminder that this is SO MUCH BIGGER than tabs ❤️

We had the honor of hearing from Angela and Megan from Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin last year, sharing the real impact your generosity has made over the past 25 years.

Their stories are a powerful reflection of what these donations truly do. Providing comfort, support, and a sense of home for families during some of the most difficult moments in their lives.

To everyone who has contributed… this is why we do what we do. 🫶
