“Don't Bury Your Treasure"

Many of you are about to embark on the most exciting journey of your lifetime. You have been seeking the Lord for clear direction for yourself, your family, your job, and your ministry, but you still don’t know which way to turn. I have a powerful prophetic word for you today, and if you receive it, and run with it, it will change the course of your life.
The Lord began to show me three different groups of believers, all crying out for Direction, Wisdom and Discernment. The first group I saw were those who were fasting and praying, striving to please Jesus with all their hearts, yet it felt as though heaven was silent. They still could not hear His voice.
Some were on their knees before Him, pounding their fists on the floor, crying out “Lord, what is Your will for my life? Show me Your way!” The Lord says “Be still and rest in Me. Let Me restore your strength. Stop striving to win what you already possess. You already have My full approval. It is not hidden from you. It is found in intimacy with Me.”
The Lord is saying to you right now: “Be still and know that I AM God. I will lead you and guide you by My peace.” Simply tune in to My voice. As you wait on Me, your strength will be renewed. A branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine. Neither can you, unless you abide in Me. As you abide, you can ask what you desire and it will be done for you by your glorious Father in heaven.
Then He showed me a second group. These were those who were looking back at their past. They began to reminisce about their former years, murmuring that life was better in Egypt where there was always plenty of bread and meat. The old songs played again in their minds, pulling them back into the very things the Lord had delivered them from. I also saw some among them packing their bags, zipping them shut, locking them, and throwing away the key.
These are the ones who have given up on the dreams and visions Jesus placed in their hearts and decided to simply move on. Don’t allow these negative thoughts to take root, or they will bear poisonous fruit. The enemy comes to steal, take life, and destroy, but the accuser’s words will fall to the ground if you resist them. Don’t be as those who died in the wilderness. Forget the former things. The Lord is doing a new thing and has plans for you that are good and not evil, plans to give you hope and a future.
The past is over. It’s time to move on. Then the Lord showed me a third group. I saw people in their own backyards, digging graves and burying treasure chests. They didn’t understand that these treasures were personal gifts from the Lord, and that Jesus wanted to place those gifts within them. Each gift was created uniquely for them. For their personality, their uniqueness, and even their brokenness. They didn’t understand that the Lord wanted to use them to accomplish great exploits.
They had no idea how valuable these treasures were. I asked the Lord who was it that was burying these treasures? He said that there were believers, some who never identified or even discovered the gifts that He entrusted to them. There are wells that they have not yet tapped into. They’ve allowed these wells to become stagnant and dry. Multitudes have gone to their graves without ever discovering these priceless treasures that He had for them.
They were not the only ones burying their treasures. He showed me fivefold ministers, some who were once very strong in faith. Many who had ministries of miracles, signs and wonders. Some had prophetic ministries and discerned the voice of the Lord with precision at one time. I asked the Lord why are they burying their treasure when they know how valuable it is? He said because the warfare has overtaken them and they could no longer fight.
They need to be stirred up once again in their most holy faith and they will rise again when they get back in the fight. They need to spend time in the secret place and search out the mysteries and the hidden treasures of the Kingdom. That which is lying dormant will awaken when they do. And just as Jeremiah, they will declare: "But His Word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could not." (Jer 20:9)
Then they will unearth the very treasures they once buried, and those treasures will become their victory.

Protect that good thing entrusted to you, through the Holy Spirit who lives within us.
