Hazlet Township is gearing up to celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with a special America 250 Parade on Saturday, September 12!

The Hazlet Recreation Department is looking for adult community volunteers to help with participant check-in, parade staging and route marshaling.

This is a great opportunity for our Hazlet business community and residents to get involved and help make this historic celebration a success! ❤️🤍💙

⏰ Volunteer shifts: 7:00–11:00 AM

Hazlet Township is celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary, and we need enthusiastic adult volunteers to help make our Hazlet America 250 Parade a massive success!

If you want to lend a hand, connect with neighbors, and help our community celebrate this historic milestone, we’d love to have you on the team!

What You’ll Do:
Help with participant check-in, parade staging at Airport Plaza, and route marshaling. Assignments will be provided when you arrive.

📅 Date: Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026 (Rain Date: Sunday, Sept. 13)
⏰ Volunteer Shift: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
📍 Parade Route: Starts at Airport Plaza, heads down Middle Road, and ends at Green Acres Drive.

The 2026 Veterans Resource Fair, presented by the Monmouth County Division on Aging, Disabilities & Veterans Services, is happening this August in Oceanport.
📅 Date: Wednesday, August 19, 2026
⏰ Time: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
📍 Location: The Fort Athletic Club (114 Saltzman Ave, Oceanport, NJ 07757)
What’s Offered:
• 75+ Service Providers: Guidance on healthcare, legal assistance, employment, education, and support services.
• VA Presentations: Live briefings on VA Benefits and Vet Centers. (Preregistration required for limited seating).
• Veteran ID Cards: On-site information regarding required documents.

The Hazlet Business Owners Association was proud to celebrate the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of Buffalo Wild Wings, and we’re excited to officially welcome them to our community!
