The Rotary Club of Kerman is partnering with community supporters to help restore and beautify our local cemetery through a meaningful cleanup and revitalization effort.

This project is made possible through community support, volunteer service, and generous donations. Every contribution big or small, helps us improve and preserve this important space for families today and generations to come.

Weeks back, members of the Rotary Club of Kerman recently had the privilege of preparing and delivering lasagna to both the boys' and girls' camps at Camp Royal. It was a wonderful opportunity to serve and encourage the youth while supporting this outstanding leadership program.

According to longtime members, this marked the first time Kerman Rotary has participated in serving meals at Camp Royal, making the experience even more special. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and helped make the day a success!

Join North Central Fire Protection District, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, and the Rotary Club of Kerman for a free Life Jacket Giveaway at Skaggs Bridge.

Life jackets will be provided free of charge while supplies last. Sizes and quantities are limited, and recipients must be present to receive a life jacket. Distribution will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

🌟 Rotary Club of Kerman Meeting Highlights – June 12, 2026 🌟

President Maureen Meza called the meeting to order and members shared updates on several exciting projects and opportunities to serve our community.

🍽️ Camp Royal Service Project
Rotarians Maureen, Jeff, Marco, Bob, Marilyn, and Kyle volunteered to prepare and deliver lasagna to both the boys' and girls' camps at Camp Royal. Members shared that this was the first time Kerman Rotary has participated in serving campers, and it was a wonderful opportunity to support and encourage Kerman High School students attending camp.

🦺 Life Vest Giveaway
Jeff Rasbeary and Isaiah Campos will join Kerman North Central Firefighters for a free life vest giveaway at Skaggs on Saturday, June 20, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Come out and help represent the Rotary Club of Kerman!

🎉 End-of-Year Celebration
Our annual potluck social will be held Friday, June 26, at the Scout Hut. Members will begin setting up at 5:00 PM, with festivities running from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Bring your favorite dish and enjoy an evening of fellowship, music provided by Rick Gonzalez, and good company.

🍽️ Lunch was prepared by Chef Cristian and featured tri-tip, chili beans, and salad.

In observance of Juneteenth, there will be no regular meetings on June 19 or June 26. Members will instead gather for the June 26 potluck social.

🌟 Rotary Club of Kerman Meeting Highlights – June 5, 2026 🌟

The Rotary Club of Kerman gathered for another great meeting focused on supporting youth and strengthening our community.

💙 We were honored to welcome Gabe Rodriguez and the Kerman Girls 8U All-Stars. The team shared how participation in softball helps young athletes develop skills, confidence, and teamwork. The Rotary Club proudly presented a $300 donation to help support the girls and offset expenses.

🏕️ Preparations are underway for Camp Royal, with volunteers meeting on June 9th to prepare meals and head to camp.

🤝 Our club remains committed to setting a positive example for students and the community, emphasizing responsible conduct and maintaining the values Rotary represents.

📅 Mark your calendars for National Night Out – "Boots in the Park" on August 21st! More details on this fun community event will be coming soon.

🎉 Instead of a demotion party, we'll be celebrating another successful Rotary year with a Celebration Party on June 26th at 6 PM at the Scout Hut. Members are invited to bring a dish and enjoy an evening of fellowship and music.

🍽️ Thank you to Antojitos Guanacos for providing a delicious lunch featuring fajitas, rice, beans, and homemade tortillas.

Together, we continue to embody Rotary's motto of "Service Above Self" and make a positive impact in Kerman.

At our recent meeting on May 15, 2026, we celebrated awarding $7,500 in scholarships to 11 outstanding Kerman students, recognized our partnership with FFA through a $500 donation for student awards, and continued preparations for Camp Royal, where Rotary volunteers will help serve and support future leaders.

We were also proud to announce that the Rotary Club of Kerman was honored with the Governor's Small Club of the Year Award for 2025-2026 at the Far West Multi-District Conference in Reno, Nevada. This recognition reflects the dedication and service of our members and the incredible support of our community.

Congratulations to our scholarship recipients, our Interact Club leaders, and everyone who helps make Rotary's mission of "Service Above Self" a reality.

The members of the Kerman Rotary Club were proud to support and celebrate the next generation of leaders in our community!

Our club awarded scholarships to graduating high school seniors as they begin their next chapter, presented the local FFA program with a $500 donation toward their annual banquet, and had the honor of recognizing outstanding FFA students with plaques during the evening’s celebration.

Investing in our youth and supporting programs that build leadership, hard work, and community values is what Rotary is all about. Congratulations to all of the students and graduates, your future is bright!

We are incredibly proud to announce that the Rotary Club of Kerman has been named as one of the Governor’s Small Club of the Year for 2025–2026 by our District Governor!

This prestigious recognition honors the heart, dedication, and service of our amazing members who continue to make a positive impact in our community and beyond.

This award was based on:

Community service impact — projects that directly improve the local community

Membership engagement — active members who participate and lead

Fundraising and outreach — successful events and public involvement

Living Rotary’s mission — “Service Above Self” through meaningful action

Club growth and leadership — strong organization, collaboration, and visibility
