At our recent meeting on May 15, 2026, we celebrated awarding $7,500 in scholarships to 11 outstanding Kerman students, recognized our partnership with FFA through a $500 donation for student awards, and continued preparations for Camp Royal, where Rotary volunteers will help serve and support future leaders.

We were also proud to announce that the Rotary Club of Kerman was honored with the Governor's Small Club of the Year Award for 2025-2026 at the Far West Multi-District Conference in Reno, Nevada. This recognition reflects the dedication and service of our members and the incredible support of our community.

Congratulations to our scholarship recipients, our Interact Club leaders, and everyone who helps make Rotary's mission of "Service Above Self" a reality.

The members of the Kerman Rotary Club were proud to support and celebrate the next generation of leaders in our community!

Our club awarded scholarships to graduating high school seniors as they begin their next chapter, presented the local FFA program with a $500 donation toward their annual banquet, and had the honor of recognizing outstanding FFA students with plaques during the evening’s celebration.

Investing in our youth and supporting programs that build leadership, hard work, and community values is what Rotary is all about. Congratulations to all of the students and graduates, your future is bright!

We are incredibly proud to announce that the Rotary Club of Kerman has been named as one of the Governor’s Small Club of the Year for 2025–2026 by our District Governor!

This prestigious recognition honors the heart, dedication, and service of our amazing members who continue to make a positive impact in our community and beyond.

This award was based on:

Community service impact — projects that directly improve the local community

Membership engagement — active members who participate and lead

Fundraising and outreach — successful events and public involvement

Living Rotary’s mission — “Service Above Self” through meaningful action

Club growth and leadership — strong organization, collaboration, and visibility

Though we may be a small club, this award shows that with passion, teamwork, and a commitment to Service Above Self, big things are possible.
From community events and service projects to supporting local families and bringing people together, this achievement belongs to everyone who has helped us grow and serve.

Thank you to our members, volunteers, sponsors, and the entire Kerman community for being part of this journey. Here’s to continuing to serve, uplift, and make a difference together!

A few weeks back, President Maureen Meza presented Officer Cubillos with a $400 donation towards helmets. We are always happy to contribute towards community safety here in our community.

🌟 Kerman Rotary Club Update – April 24, 2026 🌟

Another great meeting led by President Maureen Meza, with an opening prayer by Kyle to kick things off.

We were honored to welcome special guest Dr. Eimear O’Brien, who shared her vision for improving education across Fresno County. With a strong background in teaching and administration, she spoke about the urgent need to raise reading and math scores and her commitment to helping our students succeed.

We also welcomed Trey Johnson, the new General Sales Manager at Gill Chevrolet. Be sure to check out their Open House on May 2nd & 3rd—featuring a taco truck, special deals, and a warm welcome to the community!

⚾ President Maureen showed her support for our local youth by attending the Kerman Cal Ripken game at Chukchansi Park, cheering on the Rotary-sponsored Minor Team “Yankees.”

🚲 Don’t forget! (Saturday, May 24th), we’re hosting our Fix-a-Bike Event at Rotary Park!

Bike repairs
A bike safety booth with Sergeant Clark
🎉 Raffle for TWO bikes (with helmets!)

We also have members heading to the Far West District Conference in Reno—safe travels to Maureen and Isaiah.

🍽️ Lunch highlight: Costco lasagna, garlic bread, and salad—officially approved for Camp Royal!
