Leadership Portage County (LPC) is a non-profit leadership development organization that seeks to facilitate positive change in Portage County by building a network of informed, committed and dynamic leaders.

Join us for LPC’s Leadership Lunchbox Series this fall! This series brings leaders and professionals together for practical conversations on topics of leadership development. Each session offers real examples, tools, and perspectives you can apply in your work and community roles. A boxed lunch will be provided. Leadership Portage County is excited to welcome William Duck to our Board of Directors!

Will Duck, REHS, serves as the Water Quality Supervisor for the Portage County Health District, where he leads environmental health programs focused on water quality, wastewater management, and public health protection. He works closely with local governments, community partners, and state agencies to advance public health across Portage County. He serves as Vice Chair of the Portage County Local Emergency Planning Committee, is an Executive Board Member of United Way of Portage County, and was Co-President of Leadership Portage County's Class of 2025.

Leadership Portage County is excited to welcome Judge Patricia Smith to the LPC Board of Directors!

Judge Smith serves as Judge of the Portage County Juvenile & Probate Courts. Elected in 2020, she has led numerous initiatives to strengthen services for children, families, and vulnerable adults, including launching innovative court programs and expanding community partnerships throughout Portage County. She is an active member of the Portage County Bar Association and a graduate of Leadership Portage County's Class of 2022. Judge Smith and her husband live in Hiram, where she enjoys golfing, yoga, and spending time with her book club.
