Live With Honor celebrates it's 1-Year Anniversary this week!!! Just had a very productive Board meeting and voted in 5 new board members! Officially lucky number 13 with over 70% of our Board either a veteran or a spouse of a veteran! More information on our Board in the coming months.

LIVE WITH HONOR was founded by a military family from Portage County, Ohio in honor of CPT (RET) Jordan Ray. His wife, Dia, and their son Zach created LIVE WITH HONOR, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, in July of 2023 to help other injured or wounded service members and veterans, along with their families, by providing resources to find various local, state, and federal benefits, compensation, and discounts.

We are currently serving those veterans who reside in Portage County, Ohio, but we can try to support any disabled veteran across the United States.

Currently, we are primarily serving residents of Portage County, Ohio. There is no cost to you for our services, and our volunteer advisors receive no compensation for their efforts.*

OUR LOGO

The laurel wreath and color of gold both represent honor.

The red star is for the blood shed by our injured, wounded, and fallen service members.

The blue star represents the tears shed for the sacrifices made by all.

The gold butterfly has many meanings: change, hope, comfort, strength, and freedom. It symbolizes a rebirth, or transformation, from a service member back to a civilian. The butterfly exemplifies the good we do at LIVE WITH HONOR – every time we help an injured or wounded service member, veteran, or a family member/dependent, we are sending something good into the world. The butterfly symbolizes the good overcoming any sadness or pain felt by all of those who sacrificed.

At LIVE WITH HONOR, our mission is to empower, through education and assistance, injured or wounded service members and veterans, along with eligible family members, to secure local, state, and federal benefits earned through their service and sacrifice so all may live with honor.

A service member’s honor is so engrained in their identity and directly related to their oath of enlistment or commission, that many who leave find it difficult to let go of this identity as a Soldier, Marine, Sailor, Airman, Coast Guardsman, or Space Force Guardian. We want to remind everyone we reach of the great honor found in being a spouse, father, mother, sibling, child, and friend.

Our purpose at LIVE WITH HONOR is to help you heal physically and mentally by connecting you with the programs, resources, and benefits you have earned, are legally entitled to, and deserve.
