Tumbleweed Animal Sanctuary is a 100% volunteer run 501c3 nonprofit located in Kennewick, Washington. We are here to help animals in need with a specific focus on farmed animals. We will provide lifelong care for our rescued residents, and an environment that enables the animals to thrive and live their best life.

It’s Friday and feathers are falling.

The geese and Angel are molting right now. Turtle too. Spring is an emotional time around here. We start off with the birds hormones going wild resulting prickly attitudes 😈 to molting and sweetness with lots of napping. 😇

Angel is looking a little rough. He is about a month into molting. We are wondering when his angel wings will fall out. Even though he is tired, the molting decreases his rascal tendencies so I could get a video of him this morning. 😇
