In honor of Queen Dolly, we’re sharing a little sunshine of our own: our sweet Dolly the rabbit, named after the icon herself. Dolly Parton spent a lifetime reminding us to lead with kindness, find joy in the little things, and always be unapologetically ourselves. So today, we’re celebrating her beautiful spirit.
As Dolly herself said: “Find out who you are and do it on purpose.”
Rest easy, Queen Dolly. Thank you for filling the world with so much music, laughter, generosity, and light. We’ll keep spreading a little sunshine for you.

We hope your day is filled with love, laughter, cake, and plenty of bunny cuddles! Thank you for pouring so much of yourself into the shelter and every little life that comes through its doors. It truly wouldn’t be the same without you. Your heart, dedication, and endless compassion have made a difference to so many rabbits, and to all of us who get to see what you do.

Not everyone can say they’ve turned their bathroom into a bunny recovery suite, but that’s just the kind of person you are. Whether it’s opening your home, losing a little sleep, or giving extra TLC to the rabbits who need it most, you always go above and beyond. 🎂🥳🎉

Four years.

That’s how long 10 of our rabbits have been waiting for someone to choose them.

Four years of watching other rabbits leave for their forever homes.
Four years of celebrating birthdays in a shelter.
Four years of hoping that each visitor might finally be their person.

While these 10 are our longest residents, they’re not alone.

🐰 10 rabbits have been waiting 4+ years
🐰 6 rabbits have been waiting 2+ years
🐰 33 rabbits have been waiting over a year
🐰 40 rabbits have been waiting less than a year

Every single one of them has a unique personality, endless love to give, and deserves a home of their own.

If you’ve ever thought about adopting a rabbit, this is your sign to give the overlooked ones a chance. If you can’t adopt, sharing this post could help the right person find the bunny they’ve been looking for.
