La & Pacey are still looking for their forever home!
Some rabbits have a story that reminds you just how much they deserve a happily ever after. La and Pacey are two of those rabbits.
Pacey was found outside in Marietta in 2021 and was adopted that June. About a year later, he was bonded with La, one of the rabbits rescued from a hoarding situation of 150 rabbits in 2021.
Sadly, in 2025, they were returned to us when their family developed an allergy. They once again found themselves waiting for a home.
We don’t separate bonded pairs, so these two are a package deal. Bonded rabbits often stay at the shelter much longer than single rabbits, simply because people tend to overlook the idea of bringing home two. But trust us, bunnies are like potato chips... you can’t have just one! Two rabbits can keep each other company, provide comfort and companionship, and watching a bonded pair together is incredibly rewarding🥹

Meet Howard!
Back in April Howard was transferred to us from Cobb county animal services. When he arrived he looked pretty rough (swipe to see). A Rex rabbit like Howard should have a coat that’s short, plush and one of the softest things you’ve ever felt. If you’ve ever pet a Rex rabbit you know exactly what I’m talking about!
That softness can disappear when the rabbit has been outside and neglected for a long period of time.
Fast forward a few months and look at him now! His coat is beautiful, the mats are gone and his amazing rex softness has returned!
Howard is feeling like a whole new bunny and he’s coming out of his shell more and more every single day!

Baby Bunny Update!!!
If you missed our previous posts about these little potatoes let me fill you in! This family of 7 was brought to us all the way from Chattanooga a few weeks ago, since then they have opened their eyes and they’re growing like weeds! They’re becoming more active and curious every single day! We absolutely love watching them grow and seeing their little personalities start to shine.
Of course we love sharing cute videos, but we also want to share what goes on behind the scenes. Saying “yes” to a family of 7 rabbits comes with the financial responsibility of getting them ready for adoption. Just in basic vet care alone the total will be nearly $2000 for these guys, we have $690 to go until their vet fund is completely covered! On top of that, it costs approximately $2 per rabbit, per day for their daily needs: food, water, veggies, etc. That’s $14 per day just in this little nursery pen.
So while these little faces may look like nothing but cuteness, there’s a significant investment behind every rescue we take in.
$1,750 in veterinary care + daily food and care expenses + countless hours of work is what it takes to get this family ready for their forever homes.
We’re incredibly grateful we have the ability to step in when situations like these arise. But we can only keep saying yes because of the support of our community.
If you’d like to help us care for these babies and the many other rabbits counting on us, every donation no matter the size helps our rescue tremendously.
